Resumen
The optimum size of pumping stations which raise variable inflows is treated in this paper. The required volumes of the wet-wells, for a different number of pumps installed, are calculated. Then the operation levels, the daily simulation of the pumping station and the energy costs are determined. With different hydraulic solutions, one for each number of pumps considered, and in order to determine the best configuration, the annual costs (energetic and amortization) will be calculated. The most economical one is the final solution.
